Reflection after social networking.

Based on this social networking class, it was very good for us. It can let us build our friendships. Social networking has made me closer to my friends and it has cause us have teamwork when doing our group work/ assignment. We do the note taking based on the Google doc and for presentation part we have use the Google slide to finish the slide and etc. Therefore, social networking also can delivers instant notification of important events. It also can set up what important event on the Google calendar, in order to remind you and in case you are already forgotten. Beyond that, putting out an announcement on a Google doc is much easier than going around and telling people. It also can share the news and edit together. On this social networking class, I have learned many useful things. It will be very helpful on now and the future.

Before that, I was utterly ignorant about the Twitter. But after social networking class, I was already know more about the Twitter. It is a "micro-blogging" tool, meaning that I can share clever comments and content, but must keep it brief (under 140 characters to be exact). Twitter has experienced exponential growth since it began.  Twitter provides its users with many ways to segment content based on topic through the use of hashtags (e.g #Infusionsoft), trending topics, saved searches, follower lists, and more. Therefore, twitter is a quite useful "listening" tool so I can see what your target audience is discussing, stay up to date on industry trends, and engage in conversation with those who talk about your company. In addition, the follow connection on Twitter may be initiated by an "offline" relationship, but it is just as likely to be created by a common interest. Twitter users follow industry experts and those with who teach or study the same topics that interest them. Though the bond between Twitter users is not as personal, active users generally have a larger circle of influence on Twitter than they might have on Facebook. Beyond that, Twitter also has search power, allowing users to search by topic, name, and more. Twitter also allows for more automation since tools like HootSuite allow scheduling posts. Infusion soft integrates with Twitter so that I can increase the followers, publish links to my quality content, and encourage content sharing.

After the class, I have learned about the Google apps. The core services of Google apps have Gmail, Talk, Groups, Calendar, Drive, Sites and others. Before that, I was don't know everything about the Google apps. But now I know and have well using on the Google apps like Gmail, Google drive and etc. It was very helpful for my classes, for research, or for other works. Therefore, these tools were help to increase efficiency and engagement, and improve collaboration. In addition, note taking is a useful learning aid. Note taking is also an effective information-processing tool that is commonly used both in daily life and in many professions. Moreover, it was important to me because that the sheer amount of information that is delivered to me is daunting and confusing. Even think that have to copy down everything I hear or read. But I already find out a note taking method that was suit me, which are mapping method and charting method. Mapping method was easy to edit my notes by adding numbers, marks, and color coding. In the others sides, charting method was helps me to track the conversation and dialogues where I would normally be confused and lose out on relevant content. Lastly, Note taking is an important academic task that to remember what have learnt and to review materials for re-use in revision and assignments.
